- Open your board in Figma (FigJam).
- Main menu → File → Save local copy…
- Drop the downloaded
.jamhere. - Open the resulting
.tldrawfile in the tldraw app.
What carries over
- Sections → frames, preserving position and size
- Sticky notes and shapes-with-text → labelled boxes
- Text, tables and emoji stamps → text shapes
- Connectors → arrows between the shapes they linked
Images, embeds and hand-drawn strokes become labelled placeholders — the binary assets aren't reproduced. Colours are approximated rather than matched exactly.
